Cincinnati Art Museum Launches Improved Community Resource

Redesigned web site created by LÛCRUM Inc. and Core Five Creative
CINCINNATI (June 12, 2006)–The Cincinnati Art Museum launches its new web site today, its first web site redesign since at least 2000. The new site, which offers accessibility through innovative, user-friendly design, is a key component of a new branding strategy that the Art Museum unveiled earlier this year.
Highlights of the new site include an improved program and events calendar, a universal search function, improved access to the collections database, archives of past special exhibitions and noted daily happenings.
“The new web site is one of many ways we are working to make the Art Museum more accessible to the community,” said Cindy Fink, director of external relations and marketing. “With the web site, we aim to improve the flow of information, engaging visitors both before and after their Art Museum visit.”
LÛCRUM Incorporated, in conjunction with their strategic partner Core Five Creative, led the redesign project with an internal committee from the Art Museum.
“LÛCRUM and Core Five created innovative solutions to provide an attractive web site utilizing new technologies that will enhance user friendliness,” Fink said. “The result of their efforts will help people foster a relationship with art.”

Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum features an unparalleled art collection of more than 60,000 works spanning 6,000 years. In addition to displaying its own broad collection, the Museum also hosts several national and international traveling exhibitions each year.
